Installare Scratch 2 su Linux 64 bit

L’installazione di Scratch offline su una distribuzione Linux a 64bit non è delle più agevoli.

L’ho effettuata con qualche fastidio sul mio desktop ubuntu 12.04, ma la stessa  procedura dovrebbe funzionare con poche varianti anche su altre distribuzioni.

Innanzitutto bisogna installare Adobe AIR
Scarichiamolo da questo link.

Purtroppo, in perfetto stile Adobe, non esiste una versione  a 64 bit quindi per poter essere installato bisogna  disporre di alcune librerie anche in versione 32bit. Probabilmente le abbiamo già nella versione X86_64, ma non basta.
Come in molte altre occasioni ci viene in aiuto l’utility getlibs. 
Si tratta di uno script di shell che si occupa di scaricare ed installare le librerie richieste in versione 32bit.
E’ piuttosto difficile da reperire, quindi lo allego qui:

per installare le librerie mancanti e farle vedere dall’installer:

Fatto questo si può lanciare l’installer:

NOTA: Ho eseguito questa e le successive operazioni da root in quanto con sudo non sono riuscito
NOTA2: da vecchio sysadmin di provenienza RedHat odio sudo, quindi è anche vero che non mi sono impegnato più di tanto.

Si tratta di un file in formato Adobe Air, quindi per eseguirlo bisogna lanciare l’Adobe AIR application installer  da desktop
